Hotels, taken from first sketch to finished building

I design and deliver hotels as a single job — concept, branding, interiors and on-site delivery under one roof. Based in Porto and working across Portugal, Europe and internationally, I turn a site and a budget into a finished, award-winning hotel — in English, Portuguese or four other languages.

One concept — branding, interiors and space together

A hotel isn't a building with décor added afterwards. I develop the idea, the brand, the interiors and the architecture as one concept, so the guest experience reads as a single story from the façade to the room key. That coherence is what turns a property into a destination — and what protects your investment from the disconnected, committee-designed result a fragmented team produces.

From drawings to a building that opens

Design is only half the job. I stay with the project through technical development, tendering, site supervision and pre-opening — the owner-side delivery that keeps the concept intact when it meets budgets, contractors and the calendar. You get one accountable person from first sketch to the day the doors open, not a studio that hands you a folder and disappears.

Built for foreign investment in Portugal

Much of Portugal's hotel pipeline is backed by international capital that needs a local lead who works in their language. I bridge the owner, the design team and the Portuguese construction reality — in English, Portuguese, Italian, Polish, French and Spanish — so nothing is lost between the vision and the site.

Proof — Herbarium Hotel & Spa

A €6M, 54-room hotel and spa in Poland where I was the sole design lead and project manager, from concept to completion. It has since won nine national spa and hotel awards, including first place for Best Romantic Spa and Best Eco Spa. One property, one concept, carried all the way to built — and recognised.
